Interns will investigate binding affinities and structural interactions between NER proteins and damaged DNA using techniques such as electrophoretic mobility shift assays (EMSA), surface plasmon resonance (SPR), and fluorescence spectroscopy. This work focuses on understanding substrate recognition mechanisms.
