Biocompatibility Assessment of Electrode Materials
Interns will evaluate the biocompatibility of various electrode materials (titanium, platinum, conducting polymers) used in neuromuscular interfaces through in vitro cytotoxicity assays and inflammatory response testing. Students will analyze cellular adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation patterns on different substrate surfaces to identify optimal materials for long-term implantation.
