Interns will design and execute factorial experiments to optimize nutrient composition, carbon sources, and trace elements in fermentation media. They will analyze how different media formulations impact protein yield and titer using batch and fed-batch bioreactor systems, with data collection through HPLC and spectrophotometric analysis.
