Bioreactor Design and Scale-Up Studies

Interns will investigate optimal bioreactor configurations, mixing strategies, and oxygen transfer rates for scaling fermentation processes from laboratory to pilot scale. They will conduct computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling, perform shake flask and bench-scale experiments, and analyze hydrodynamic parameters. This work bridges the gap between lab-scale discovery and industrial implementation.
