Gene Expression Analysis in Developmental Pathways

Interns will conduct RT-PCR, RNA-seq analysis, or utilize existing datasets to examine aberrant gene expression patterns in embryonic tissues affected by birth defects. They will investigate how mutations or dysregulation in developmental genes disrupt morphogenesis and contribute to specific malformations.
