Interns will research and evaluate advanced image processing methods including histogram equalization, contrast enhancement, and noise reduction to improve visibility of latent evidence in crime scene photographs. They will conduct comparative studies on software tools and develop protocols for maintaining chain of custody standards while enhancing digital forensic images.
