What is an Environmental / Eco Internship?

This internship takes you out of the lab and into real-world ecosystems. You sample, measure, observe, and document — the foundational field skills behind environmental impact reports, biodiversity studies, and pollution-control assessments.

What you will do

• Plan and execute field sampling — water bodies, soil, ambient air, or biota
• Use field instruments — pH meters, DO probes, anemometers, GPS units
• Run lab-side analysis on collected samples (BOD, COD, heavy metals, nutrients)
• Conduct biodiversity surveys using standard quadrat or transect methods
• Compile findings into a structured environmental assessment report

Who this is for

Students of environmental science, ecology, microbiology, biotechnology, civil engineering, and forestry who prefer hands-on field exposure over pure bench work. Ideal if you are aiming at environmental consultancies, NGOs, or government environmental agencies.
