What is a Geological / Soil & Water Internship?

This internship is built around physical sampling and lab characterization of geological materials, soil, and water. You learn the standard protocols that environmental consultancies, agri-science labs, and infrastructure planners depend on every day.

What you will do

• Plan and execute sampling for soil, groundwater, surface water, or rock
• Perform soil-physics assays — texture, bulk density, porosity, moisture
• Run water quality tests — pH, EC, hardness, fluoride, nitrate, metals
• Use field instrumentation including augers, piezometers, and portable kits
• Compile data into resource-assessment reports usable in real consultancies
