What is a Research Assistantship Internship?

This internship is structured around direct support to a Principal Investigator. You become a working hand on a funded or in-pipeline project — running experiments, processing data, contributing to write-ups, and learning what serious research looks like beyond coursework.

What you will do

• Run experiments or data-collection tasks defined by the PI
• Curate, clean, and analyse experimental data
• Maintain a research-grade lab notebook or data log
• Help draft sections of papers, posters, or grant reports
• Present interim findings at lab meetings

• Realistic understanding of how a research lab actually runs
• Possible authorship or acknowledgement on a paper / poster
