Interns will isolate and identify bioactive compounds such as omega-3 fatty acids, carotenoids, and polyphenols from marine organisms using chromatography and spectroscopy techniques. They will evaluate biological properties and explore industrial-scale extraction and stabilization methods for nutraceutical and cosmetic applications.
