Structural Analysis of Transport Proteins and Antiporters
Interns will analyze the transport mechanisms of membrane transporters and antiporters using X-ray crystallography data analysis and cryo-EM structures. They will model substrate-binding events, determine transport kinetics through functional assays, and investigate allosteric regulation mechanisms involved in active and passive transport.
