Sanger Sequencing and Mutation Validation

Interns will perform direct DNA sequencing using Sanger sequencing methodology to validate mutations identified through high-throughput screening in patient samples. They will interpret electropherograms, design sequencing primers, and document mutation locations relative to gene structures.
