Endothelial Permeability and Barrier Function Assessment

Interns will investigate mechanisms of endothelial barrier dysfunction through TEER (transepithelial electrical resistance) measurements, permeability assays, and tight junction protein analysis using cell culture models. Students will learn techniques for evaluating VE-cadherin, claudins, and occludin expression patterns under pathological conditions.
