Pathogen Detection and Molecular Diagnostics

Interns will learn to identify and analyze disease-causing pathogens in wildlife samples using molecular techniques such as PCR, DNA sequencing, and serological testing. They will work on developing diagnostic protocols for emerging infectious diseases in animal populations and contribute to maintaining surveillance databases of pathogen prevalence across different species and regions.
