Applied Immunology › Immunometabolism & Immune Cell Energy Dynamics
Glycolysis and Inflammatory Response Mechanisms
This internship focuses on the central role of aerobic glycolysis in driving inflammatory activation of macrophages and neutrophils, including studies on metabolic reprogramming during immune challenge. Interns will employ isotope tracing, gene expression analysis, and functional assays to link glucose metabolism to cytokine production and antimicrobial capacity.
