Biofilm-based Treatment Systems for Industrial Effluents
Interns will design and operate biofilm reactors using attached microbial communities for treatment of wastewater from textile, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. They will monitor biofilm development, microbial composition, and pollutant removal efficiency using molecular and analytical methods.
