Mycoremediation of Contaminated Substrates
Interns will isolate and culture fungi with proven or potential remediation capabilities and assess their effectiveness in breaking down pollutants in soil and compost systems. They will conduct enzyme activity assays, substrate degradation experiments, and evaluate fungal biomass accumulation under various environmental conditions.
