Biofilm Formation by Spore-Forming Bacteria on Dairy Processing Equipment
Interns will study biofilm development by Bacillus species on stainless steel and other dairy processing surfaces, examining attachment mechanisms and resistance to sanitizers. They will evaluate cleaning and disinfection protocols and develop novel prevention strategies for equipment contamination in dairy plants.
