Chromatographic Analysis of Drugs in Biological Samples
Interns will develop and optimize high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) methods for detecting controlled substances, prescription medications, and their metabolites in blood, urine, and saliva samples. They will gain hands-on experience with instrument calibration, method validation, and quality assurance protocols used in forensic toxicology laboratories.
