Antimicrobial Wound Dressings and Biofilm Prevention
Interns will develop and test antimicrobial wound dressing formulations incorporating silver nanoparticles, peptides, or natural compounds to prevent infection while promoting healing. Their research will include bacterial susceptibility testing, biofilm inhibition assays, and cytotoxicity evaluation on healthy tissue.
