Bacterial Diversity Profiling Using 16S rRNA Gene Sequencing

Interns will learn to extract DNA from soil samples, perform PCR amplification of bacterial 16S rRNA genes, and analyze sequencing data to identify and quantify bacterial communities. This hands-on project involves bioinformatic analysis using QIIME2 or similar platforms to understand bacterial taxonomic composition across different soil types.
