Antibiotic Resistance Gene Dissemination Networks
Interns will trace the acquisition and spread of antibiotic resistance genes across clinically relevant bacterial pathogens using genomic and epidemiological data. Students will construct gene transfer networks, identify mobile genetic elements carrying resistance markers, and predict potential risk factors for resistance gene distribution in hospital and community settings.
