Gold Nanoparticle-Based Biosensors for Disease Detection
Interns will synthesize and characterize gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and develop functionalized biosensors for detecting disease biomarkers such as proteins, nucleic acids, and metabolites. They will conduct surface plasmon resonance (SPR) experiments and optimize nanoparticle conjugation with antibodies or aptamers for enhanced sensitivity and specificity in diagnostic applications.
