Quantum Dots as Fluorescent Biomarkers for Multiplexed Diagnostics
Interns will synthesize quantum dots (QDs) with tunable optical properties and functionalize them with targeting ligands for multiplexed biomarker detection. They will develop and validate QD-based assays using fluorescence spectroscopy and flow cytometry to simultaneously detect multiple disease biomarkers in patient samples.
