Gene Editing and CRISPR-Based Disease Correction in Stem Cells

Interns will apply CRISPR/Cas9 or other gene editing technologies to correct disease-causing mutations in patient-derived stem cells and evaluate the efficacy of genetic corrections. They will compare edited versus control cells to assess rescue of disease phenotypes and cellular function.
