Aromatic Amino Acid Characterization and Tryptophan Fluorescence

Interns will investigate intrinsic protein fluorescence properties by measuring tryptophan and tyrosine emissions (280-350 nm region) to assess protein structural integrity and microenvironment changes. They will perform fluorescence quenching experiments and study how aromatic residue exposure correlates with protein folding states and conformational dynamics.
