Shimming Coil Design and Optimization
Interns will develop and test active and passive shimming coil configurations to correct magnetic field inhomogeneities in MRI systems. Work involves computational modeling using finite element analysis, experimental validation of coil performance, and optimization of current distributions to achieve sub-ppm field uniformity across imaging volumes.
