Susceptibility-Induced Artifacts Characterization
Interns will investigate magnetic susceptibility effects from anatomical structures, implants, and materials on MRI image quality through both experimental measurements and numerical simulations. Work includes phantom studies, tissue susceptibility mapping, and development of correction algorithms to mitigate susceptibility-induced signal loss and geometric distortions in clinical imaging.
