Extracellular Matrix Composition and Remodeling

Interns will investigate the role of ECM components (collagen, fibronectin, hyaluronic acid) in tumor microenvironment models through fabrication of engineered matrices and quantification of ECM remodeling by cancer-associated fibroblasts. They will use techniques such as immunofluorescence, mass spectrometry, and mechanical testing to correlate matrix properties with tumor behavior.
