Proteostasis Mechanisms and Protein Quality Control
Interns will investigate how cellular chaperones and the ubiquitin-proteasome system fail to prevent pathological protein aggregation in neurodegenerative diseases. Students will assess chaperone function, autophagy flux, and proteasomal activity under stress conditions.
