Tau Protein Phosphorylation and Neurodegeneration
Interns will study the role of abnormal tau phosphorylation in neurofibrillary tangle formation and neuronal dysfunction. Research includes kinase assays, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry on brain tissue samples, and live-cell imaging of tau aggregation.
