Cultivation and Isolation of Extremophilic Microorganisms
Interns will design and optimize culture media to isolate thermophilic, halophilic, and anaerobic microorganisms from produced water samples collected at various depths and temperatures. They will perform morphological and physiological characterization of isolated strains and conduct pure culture experiments to study their metabolic capabilities and potential biotechnological applications.
