Porcine Xenograft Immunocompatibility Assessment
Interns will investigate immune rejection mechanisms in pig-to-human xenotransplantation models, including hyperacute, acute, and chronic rejection pathways. They will conduct in vitro assays to evaluate complement activation, antibody binding, and cellular immune responses using donor and recipient tissues.
