Blood-Brain Barrier Integrity and Immune Cell Infiltration
Interns will study how neuroinflammation compromises BBB function and facilitates immune cell infiltration into the CNS using in vitro BBB models and immunofluorescence imaging. They will analyze tight junction protein expression, permeability assays, and leukocyte transmigration mechanisms.
