Neuronal-Immune Cell Crosstalk and Synaptic Dysfunction
Interns will investigate molecular interactions between activated immune cells and neurons, particularly how neuroinflammatory mediators impair synaptic plasticity and neuronal viability. They will conduct co-culture experiments, patch-clamp electrophysiology, and analyze synaptic protein markers using Western blotting and immunohistochemistry.
